当協会では、国際協力事業の一環として、平成18年度（2006年度）よりスリランカ民主社会主義共和国における柑橘栽培復興計画を支援して参りました。

長年に亘る取り組みにおいては、「地域の特徴を活かした多様な協力」、「対等な協力関係に基づく住民参加型の協力」、「相手地域のニーズにあったきめ細かな協力」を念頭に置きつつ、愛媛とスリランカが共に輝く成果を模索してきました。

今回、私たちの活動に丁寧に伴走し協力いただいた皆様方への感謝の気持ちを込めて、事業成果と今後の事業展望をまとめた冊子を作成いたしました。

当協会の活動を支援してくださる方々、また、国際協力に携わる方々にご一読賜りまして、本冊子が今後の国際協力推進の一助となりましたら幸いです。

As part of our international cooperation activities, we have been supporting the project for the revival of citrus cultivation in the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka since 2006.

In our efforts over the years, we have sought to achieve results that will bring Ehime and Sri Lanka together, keeping in mind the following principles: "diversified cooperation that makes the most of local characteristics", "cooperation with the participation of local people based on equal cooperation", and "cooperation that is finely tuned to the needs of the partner region".

In order to express our gratitude to all those who have carefully accompanied and cooperated with us in our activities, we have prepared a booklet summarizing the results of the project and the future prospects of the project.

We hope that those who support our activities and those who are involved in international cooperation will read this booklet and that it will help to promote international cooperation in the future.
